PHAROS
series of stone sculptures
Venice Design Week
October 11-19, 2025
The stone sculptures of the Pharos project explore the silent and noble essence of lighthouses. Unlike the lamps, they do not emit light but welcome it, reflect it, and transform it. Their surfaces—sometimes polished, sometimes rough, at times undulating—interact with the surrounding environment, breaking down and multiplying the brightness they receive.
Just as the sea reflects and diffuses the beam of a lighthouse, the stones turn external light into vibration, into a dispersed signal that resonates within space. These works embody the discreet yet vital communication of lighthouses: a visual language that guides, connects, and inspires without ever imposing itself.
